Marine Workshop

Second day at Marine Workshop,

We were instructed by Mrs. Rahat to dis-assemble parts of Diesel-engine. We were divided into five groups since there are only four to five diesel engines.  During that time, we were also inspected to obey the rules while working in the workshop so that there are no accident happens. Mrs.Rahat also explain to us what is diesel engine all about including the parts in the diesel engine. During that time he also explained how the engine operating does.

Language and communication

Language and Communication

During Tutorial class Miss Zayana take over the class. During that tutorial we had perform a song chorus at AV room. This is to build our confidence to stand infront a lot of people. This is also for preparation for our presentation assessment which will held on this month.
At the end of tutorial, we were asked to recite a paragraph of poem in order to improve our pronounciation.

Alhamdulillah, at last I had completed my engineering drawing assignment task 1.

Mathematics Lecture

ANGLES OF ELEVATION AND DEPRESSION

The angle of elevation of an object as seen by an observer is the angle between the horizontal and the line from the object to the observer's eye.

If the object is below the level of the observer, then the angle between the horizontal and the observer's line of sight is called the angle of depression.

Briefly Describe:

  1. Plate forming
  2. Pyramid Rolls
  3. Initial-pitch bending Rolls
  4. Press Brake
  5. Hand Operate folding machine.

Engineering Drawing

Engineering Drawing assignment was given before school holiday and had to be submitted a week after school reopen. There were three task had to be done;

Task One:

    • Describe :  Engineering Drawing used as a mean of communication
    • Orthographic Projection (compare between first and third angle projections)
    • Types of lines used in Engineering Drawing
    • Pictorial Drawing.

Task Two:

Draw the given Diagram of bevel gear support in Third Angle Projection:

  • A sectional front-view on a lane through A-A
  • A side view from B
  • A top view.

Task Three:

Radial pattern Development:
  • Complete the development of the pattern of the surface area of the frustum in the space provided
  • Complete the plan view
  • Complete the side view.

At the end of the assignment, we are required to make a report of each task.

Graphical Software Assignment- Task B (FLYER)

This is the second task of the assignment which is creating a business flyer. By doing this flyer is mean to promote our company to the public. My business is based on hotel company.

There are 8 courses available in this college (Marine engineering, Process engineering,Building Services, Instrumentation and Control engineering, Computer Networking, Information and Technology, Mechatronic and Mechanical engineering).

Presentation Skill

In the presentation, there are some skill for presenter had to follow to gain a good products at the end of the presentation. It helps the presenter to promote or to make the presentation more interesting and satisfied the audience.

Tha skills are:

1) eye's contact

IT APPLICATION

Today, on this lesson our instructor, Sir Khairul Hajri had given us a new task on Graphical Design. This is the same as previous task based on poster. The different is the theme. so for the new task theme is about health awareness. We were split into group to discuss about health awareness. The discussion is about three different diseases that effect the human. My group discuss about Alzheimer, Parkinson and Anemia.  In the discussion we had to doing some research on its

  1. Causes
  2. Effects
  3. Prevention.

Mathematics Lesson ( Unit- 304.05) Trigonometry

Arc Length and Sector Area Formulae

OBJECTIVE :
  1. Convert angular measurements
    - Define Radian
    - Convert measurements in degrees (from 0 Degree to 360 Degree) to Radian vice versa.
    - Convert multiple of  radians and vice versa.

 2. Deduce and use

    - The arc length formula s = rθ
    - The area of sector formula  A= 1/2 rS

 3. Apply arc length and sector area formulae to solve a range of work related problems.

Convert from degree to radian:

 x° x ∏/ 180°

Convert from radian o degree:

y rad x 180°/ ∏
